Express it…how you feel. Don’t keep it bottled up inside. You have a right to feel as you do, and you have a right to speak up.
The key is to do it the right way. preface it with words like “I feel” and not “It’s your fault” because the fact is that you can’t control how other people feel or act. And that’s something we all need to remember. Just because we may prefer another to be a certain way does not mean it’s going to happen.
But if you feel the need to speak up then do it…calmly; respectfully. And then you can make an informed decision about the future of the relationship. Will the person change their actions, and, if not, is it something that you can accept just the way it is?
Think about it.
