Just once won’t cut it- doing something one time will not transform it into an automatic habit.
You wouldn’t eat one time and expect that you’d never have to eat again, right?
You wouldn’t go to work for one day and expect your salary to be paid for the rest of your life would you? (Though it might be nice)
So why do you think that doing one positive thing just one time will make it part of you?
Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to get something done. You don’t want to do it because there’s always tomorrow. But then tomorrow comes and it still remains undone.
Yes, you may have to force yourself. But think of the benefits you will reap once that positive habit becomes an ingrained part of you.
